Dream Big, and Let Us Make It Happen
This five-day course teaches the core methods and tools of quality management. Participants learn how to prevent defects, measure process performance, and set controls that hold improvements in place. Instruction emphasizes practical application with case work and real data. The course links quality practices to operational targets and compliance needs.
1. Apply basic statistical tools (control charts, process capability) to monitor and interpret process performance.
2. Conduct measurement system analysis and set reliable inspection and sampling plans.
3. Use structured problem-solving (root cause analysis, 5 Whys, fishbone) to diagnose defects and prioritize corrective actions.
4. Design and document control plans and standard work that sustain improvements and reduce variation.
5. Lead a corrective action cycle: define the problem, implement solutions, measure impact, and verify effectiveness.
